reciprocation

i had the wonderful opportunity to reciprocate yesterday during my commute to work. a pregnant mommy stepped on the el as i snagged a seat and i offered it to her right away. when she got off at her stop, she thanked me and commented that so few people do so any more! it's sad, but true and i'll quickly give up my seat for any mommy out there.
it's a shame that common courtesies like that have fallen off, but i plan to lead by example to bring them back!
